His election to the leadership position is a significant milestone for both the cadet and Bandari Maritime Academy, highlighting the growing recognition of Kenyan maritime cadets on international platforms and their potential to take up leadership roles within the global maritime industry.
BMA Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Eric Katana, congratulated Cadet Kiogora on his achievement, commending him for demonstrating leadership, professionalism and commitment to excellence.
Dr. Katana noted that Kiogora’s appointment is an inspiration to fellow cadets and a reflection of the quality of maritime education, training and leadership development nurtured at BMA.

Dr. Katana encouraged Cadet Kiogora to embrace the responsibility and use the opportunity to further develop his leadership skills while representing BMA and Kenya with distinction.
