Bandari Maritime Academy (BMA) is proud to recognize Captain Kim Khwan of South Korea, a dedicated partner and long-standing supporter of the Academy’s initiatives in advancing Maritime education and training.

Capt. Kim has been instrumental in fostering strong ties between BMA and various international stakeholders, particularly in promoting capacity-building programs, knowledge exchange, and technical support for Maritime training. His unwavering commitment has contributed significantly to the Academy’s mission of positioning Kenya as a regional hub for shipping, Maritime, and Blue Economy education.

BMA CEO Dr. Eric Katana commended Capt. Kim for his continued partnership, noting that such international collaboration strengthens BMA’s ability to offer world-class training, improve seaboard training opportunities, and prepare students for careers in the global Maritime industry.
