It is all systems go at Bandari Maritime Academy (BMA) as more than 150 newly enrolled students were officially welcomed by the Academy’s CEO, Dr. Eric Katana, during a vibrant orientation ceremony.
In his address, Dr. Katana reaffirmed the Academy’s commitment to providing a supportive and enabling environment for the students’ academic and professional growth.
He assured the new cohort that the Academy’s leadership and faculty are fully dedicated to guiding them on their journey toward excellence in maritime education and training.
Dr. Katana noted that the students have joined BMA at a pivotal moment, as the Academy continues to expand its influence through strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the Maritime and Blue Economy sectors locally, regionally and internationally.
These collaborations are opening up exciting opportunities for hands-on training, internships, and career pathways.
He urged the students to remain focused, disciplined and purpose-driven, reminding them that their conduct and commitment will define not only their future but also the legacy they leave behind at the Academy.
