World Shipping Council Vice President Visits Bandari Maritime Academy Booth at Our Ocean Conference 2026

World Shipping Council Vice President Communications and General Manager Europe, Ms. Ann Larsson, has visited the Bandari Maritime Academy (BMA) booth at the ongoing 11th Our Ocean Conference 2026 at PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort.

Ms. Larsson, who serves with the World Shipping Council, was briefed on the Academy’s maritime training programmes, modern training facilities, and its contribution to developing a skilled workforce for the maritime sector.

Her visit adds to the growing list of high-profile maritime experts and industry leaders who have toured the BMA booth during the conference, demonstrating increasing global interest in the Academy’s role in advancing maritime education and training in Kenya and the wider region.
