PS Shadrack Mwadime arrives at Bandari Maritime Academy to launch the Academy’s Strategic Plan 2021-2025, received by Board Chair Prof. Kinandu Muragu and CEO Mr. Francis Muraya.
PS Shadrack Mwadime highlights, “Certificates issued by the Academy are internationally recognized. To date, we have over 6000 seafarers graduates from the institute working in international shipping lines. The role of BMA in this endeavor cannot, therefore, be overemphasized.”
The PS urged Stakeholders and the institute to obtain a clear understanding of the Strategic Plan in order to implement the various themes and objectives as outlined. Assured support in resource mobilization for BMA to match other training centers in the world.
PS highlights “The Government is committed to expanding the Academy’s curriculum portfolio and enhancing its physical infrastructure to accommodate a higher student population”. He also encouraged other training institutions and Maritime agencies to partner in sharing resources and training equipment.
