Bandari Maritime Academy (BMA) exhibition booth at the 2026 Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Show in Kisumu County is attracting significant interest from students across the Lake Region and Western Kenya, with learners visiting the stand to explore maritime education, training opportunities and rewarding career pathways.
Among the institutions that have toured the BMA exhibition booth are Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Kisumu Campus, Keveye Girls High School from Vihiga County, Chebigen High School from Kericho County and Lora Laboso Girls High School from Bomet County.
The students are engaging with Academy representatives to learn about BMA’s maritime programmes, admission requirements and the wide range of career opportunities available in Kenya’s expanding maritime sector.
Through its participation at the ASK Show, Bandari Maritime Academy is inspiring young people from the Lake Region and Western Kenya to pursue maritime education and take advantage of the vast opportunities within the blue economy.
