Hundreds of professional seafarers turned up for the highly anticipated Seafarers Recruitment Drive organized by Cruise Way Agencies in collaboration with Bandari Maritime Academy.
The event, held at the Academy, attracted a large number of qualified seafarers from across the country, all seeking placement opportunities aboard international cruise and cargo vessels.
Bandari Maritime Academy was represented by Deputy Director of Maritime Education and Training Chief Engineer Titus Kilonzi, on behalf of the CEO, Dr. Eric Katana.
Chief Eng. Kilonzi reaffirmed the Academy’s commitment to supporting initiatives that create employment opportunities for Kenyan seafarers and advance the Blue Economy agenda.
Cruise Way Agencies Director Abubakar Omar, expressed his appreciation for the overwhelming turnout and underscored the agency’s dedication to linking Kenyan Maritime professionals with global career opportunities.
Positions Open for Recruitment:
1. Deck Department – Master (Captain), Chief Officer, Second and Third Mate, Able Seaman (AB), Ordinary Seaman (OS), Bosun, Wipers, Deck Cadets and Oiler
2. Engine Department – Chief Engineer, First, Second and Third Engineers and Electrician
3. Ratings – Watchkeeping, Navigational Watch and Tunnel man.
