2. Download the application form, complete and send it through the admissions email address: admissions@bma.ac.ke. The Application Form is available here for download: Application Form

3. Visit the Academy, pick the application form, fill and return it.

Make An Application

The applicant should attach the following documents while making an application for the following courses:

 

Level 5 And 6 Courses.

1. Copy of KCSE result slip/ certificate
2. Copy of National ID/ Passport/birth certificate
3. Copy of school leaving certificate

 

STCW Courses Admissions/Ratings forming part of Navigational watch II/4 or Engineering Technology Watch III/4

1. Copy of verified seafarer’s medical certificate from Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA)
2. Copy of national ID/ passport

 

Port Equipment Operation Courses Admissions

1. Copy of national ID
2. Copy of a valid driving license

 

Coxswain Level III/Advanced Fire Fighting/ STCW Revalidation courses

1. Copy of verified seafarer’s medical certificate from Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA)
2. Copy of national ID/Passport
3. Copies of STCW Certificates

 

Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat (PSCRB)

1. Copy of verified seafarer’s medical certificate from Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA)
2. Copy of national ID/Passport
3. Copies of STCW Certificates
4. Copy of Continuous Discharge Book (CDC)

 

Ratings as Able Seafarer Deck II/5

1. Copy of National ID/ Passport
2.  Verified Seafarers Medical Certificate from Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA)
