On this day, over 150 newly enrolled Cadets at Bandari Maritime Academy marked a significant milestone in their Maritime careers by participating in a vibrant regimental training graduation ceremony held at Bandari Maritime Academy.
The pass-out ceremony celebrated the successful completion of intensive regimental training jointly conducted by instructors from Bandari Maritime Academy and the Kenya Coast Guard Service. During the event, the cadets showcased the regimental skills, discipline and teamwork they acquired during the training, which is designed to prepare them for the demanding operational environment of the Maritime sector.
Representing Bandari Maritime Academy CEO Dr. Eric Katana at the ceremony was Deputy Director of Corporate Services Evans Oyieyo.
In the speech, Oyieyo commended the Cadets for their dedication, resilience and exemplary discipline throughout the training period. He emphasized the importance of such foundational programs in shaping future Maritime professionals who will contribute to Kenya’s Blue Economy.
The graduation ceremony not only marks the end of one phase of training but also the beginning of a new journey for the Cadets as they pursue further Maritime education and eventual deployment in Kenya’s growing Maritime industry.
