BMA Strengthens International Partnerships with Indonesian Maritime Institutions

Bandari Maritime Academy (BMA), led by Board Member Ms. Grace Sian, is spearheading negotiations with maritime institutions in Jakarta, Indonesia, aimed at strengthening capacity building, student exchange programmes, and graduate and postgraduate training opportunities.

The initiative is part of BMA’s commitment to ensuring that its cadets receive training that meets the highest international standards and that their qualifications and competencies are internationally recognized.

Through strategic partnerships with leading maritime institutions and industry stakeholders, BMA seeks to enhance the quality, competitiveness, and global mobility of its graduates.

Among the institutions and agencies BMA is engaging are the Jakarta Merchant Marine Higher Education Center, Banten Merchant Marine Polytechnic, and the Consortium of Indonesia Manning Agencies, among others.

The BMA delegation comprises Senior Deputy Director Corporate Services, CPA Evans Oyieyo; Ag. Senior Deputy Director Maritime Transport Operations Training, Mr. Enock Okemwa; and Office Administrative Assistant, Ms. Fatima Shemni.
