Bandari Maritime Academy (BMA) is using the ongoing 2026 Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Show at the Mamboleo Grounds in Kisumu County to mentor primary and secondary school learners on careers in the maritime sector.
BMA officers are engaging learners on the Academy’s training programmes and the diverse employment opportunities available in the Blue Economy, including shipping, port operations, marine engineering, logistics and other maritime-related fields.
The Academy is encouraging young people to consider maritime education as a pathway to rewarding careers while supporting Kenya’s growing Blue Economy.
