Bandari Maritime Academy Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Eric Katana, hosted Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) Managing Director, Captain William Ruto, during a courtesy visit at Bandari Maritime Academy.
The visit underscored the growing partnership between Bandari Maritime Academy and KPA, with both institutions committed to strengthening collaboration in key areas such as Maritime education and training, human resource development and capacity building within the Blue Economy sector.
Captain Ruto, who also attended an ongoing training session for KPA staff held at the Academy’s Amphitheater, lauded the Academy’s efforts in providing industry-relevant training and reaffirmed KPA’s support in enhancing the quality and relevance of Maritime and port-related programmes.
